When Worlds Collide: A Conrad Olsen Novel - Hardcover

by John F. Morken (Author)

WE ALL LIVE IN SEPARATE WORLDS. Often, life can be a double-edged sword. Slice it any way you want, but eventually, someone will get hurt, mad, or dead. The constant stream of random, atomic-like collisions between people, places, and things can never be avoided.

Conrad Olsen grew up with privilege, luxury, and wealth. The personal tragedy of losing his mother affected his childhood and steered his adulthood. Now, Conrad Olsen works for Captain Guy Darci as a trial attorney, representing people with complex and challenging problems.

Leopold Dubrovsky is the son of immigrants who fled the Nazi war machine during World War II. In 1967, Leo was forced onto a different path by his parents, which sent him to his eventual fate and betrothal to Siriporn Anuman - a beautiful and exotic drug smuggler from the Golden Triangle in Southeast Asia.

Felix Gallardo is the Lord of a violent and powerful Mexican Drug Cartel who wants what Leo and Siri have. Wendell Watts is the chief building code enforcement officer for the County of Marin. He inspects other people's property and enjoys red-tagging their homes. Special FBI Agent Jim Crawford operates in between many worlds.

WHEN WORLDS COLLIDE tells the remarkable story of the collision between all their worlds while they search and fight for wealth, love, and happiness. The conflicting interests force a race against time to survive. The dangerous and deadly cat-and-mouse conflict unfolds through the eyes and actions of attorney Conrad Olsen. Ultimately, Conrad's choices, decisions, and actions will determine their fate and reveal the one truth that makes all of us so imperfectly human: Life is precious, fragile, and filled with uncertainty.
