What Will the Future Bring? - Paperback

by Lynne a. Guitar (Author)

Book Five (Libro Cinco)-What Will the Future Bring?/ Qué Traerá el Futuro? Kayabó has returned from a lengthy trip to the Land of the Maya with fascinating tales of the people he has met, things he has seen, and gifts for those in Xaraguá and Kaleta, including some of the odd clothing worn by Mayans... and his surprise gift for Yajima. Will she still want him as her husband? His happiness is dampened when the visions that Atabeyra showed Anani, and those of the behike (shaman/healer) Makuya, reveal that their future will carry a heavy weight of responsibility. This is Book Five in Dr. Lynne Guitar's "Taíno Ni Rahú (Children of the Water) Series." All 10 books in the series take place just as Christopher Columbus and his motley crews are about to disrupt the Taínos' lives forever. Each book is in both English and Spanish. Guides to the books' historical backgrounds, characters, pronunciation, and extended explanations of Taíno words used are also provided for educational purposes.
