Vibrant Prose is a textbook style attempt to catalogue as many good ideas on how to develop a concept, understand the basic components of story, and how to write effective prose as possible. The goal is to make this book unlike any other and to give you more ideas, techniques, and tools on how to approach writing than any other book on the market. Vibrant Prose provides a resource for anyone who wishes to learn how to write a book, or to help teach a group of people on how to write a book. There is more to this package than just the book.

Any resource must not only talk about how to help you, but to provide the implements to put that advice into place. That is why the purchase of this book entitles you to a series of tools. This tool set includes a workbook with over twenty individual tools that you can use to help write or revise your work-in-progress. Along with that is a customizable story tracker file that provides updatable graphs and charts to help diagnose any issues within writing. For those who are plotters, also included are a set of beat sheets to help you plan your story or review your story with any of the many popular approaches to plotting a book, including one that allows you to create your own method. Also included with the purchase of this are a set of customizable presentations files, lesson plans, and quizzes that any teacher can use in implementing this as a curriculum to supplement their regular classroom plans. The tools connect directly back to the text and the exercises included therein. All these elements create a complete suite of tools that can help to teach students and for those students to learn and apply the lessons from the text.
