by R. D. Brunk (Author)

Would you scream or lose your mind? How would you react when you realize those voices in your head are coming from every person near you. They have become so oppressive you cannot distinguish your thoughts from the person next to you. What would you do? Mr. Preacher, kept his mouth shut. He isolated himself until he could control the voices. Telling anyone would have result in a quick ride to the rubber room or worse. Greg Preacher realized his abilities were not limited to mind reading. He could also do telekinesis and has the ability to control people's mind. The stakes just got higher, cognitive manipulation is a skill highly sought by the Government and criminals alike. What does Greg find while experimenting? He stumbled onto a 'sex slave' house right at his doorstep. The acts of violence being conducted against one woman, Michelle, sickened him. Her rescue became his only concern. Was it coincidence they found each other or are their lives entwined for another reason? Forces continue to pull them together even when they know the best thing would be to separate. Just how does Greg have these gifts? This has to be answered before Michelle and he can have a life together. Were these gifts presented by God to draw them together or are they the result of something more sinister? Is the U.S. Government behind this? Do they know he has these abilities? Are they searching for someone with Greg's newly developed skills? If this is a Government experiment can it be legal? Can it be stopped? What Mr. Preacher discovers will amaze you. As his powers grow so does the risk of discovery. Discovery would mean he would lose his life and the one person he has searched a lifetime to find.
