As Abner stood looking into the empty shop, he felt the tingling spread throughout his body. This was the third time he had come to stare into the big front windows, and the energy became stronger each time. It was as if electricity was running up and down his spine. Today it ran through his arms and reached his fingers where they grasped the door facing. The spirits were here, no doubt about it. He sensed them telling him there was something special about this place-something he should pay attention to.
