by Tania Winther (Author)

Discover the Land of the Tr nders!

Are you ready to dive into a world where every sentence ends with "tja", where the weather changes faster than you can say "ka farsken," and where people are as warm as their knitted wool socks?

In The Tr nders: A Quirky Guide to Trondheim, Tr nderland, and Its People, you'll get a crash course in surviving, and thriving, in this charmingly peculiar corner of Norway. Packed with odd historical facts, hilarious anecdotes, and insider tips, this book will have you blending in like a local in no time, or at least laughing so hard you won't care if you don't. Whether you're a curious traveler, a homesick Tr nder, or just someone who enjoys a good laugh, this is the ultimate guide to the quirks of Trondheim, Tr ndelag, and the wonderful people who call it home.

So grab a coffee, kick off your shoes, and prepare to meet the Tr nders, on their terms, 'sj lvsagt'.

The author, a true citizen of the world (and perhaps slightly confused by it), grew up in so many places that even Google Maps might struggle to pin her down. With her Norwegian family and heritage, this naturally, made her the perfect person to write The Tr nder - A Quirky Guide to Trondheim and Its People. Who better to decode Trondheim's oddities and local charm than someone who had to decipher cultures wherever she went?

With humor, curiosity, and just enough bewilderment to make things interesting, Tania brings you this playful guide, hoping it answers your questions about the region or at least leaves you laughing as hard as she did while writing it.
