The Trivia Group Volume 1: Things and Info on General History - Paperback

by Yrvin J. W. Fils-Aime (Author)

In an age when information is instantly accessible, The Trivia Group Volume 1: Things and Info on General History ventures beyond the familiar to uncover the overlooked, forgotten, and often untold stories of our past. This collection reminds us that history is far more than a list of dates and events-it is a living tapestry woven from human experience, innovation, struggle, and discovery. Within these pages lie facts buried by time, ignored by modern discourse, or simply unknown to many.

From the scientific foundations that support today's technologies to the geographical forces that shape our world, every subject explored is rooted in moments that deserve recognition. The book examines how judicial decisions and political movements have influenced societies, forming an ongoing narrative that continues to define our lives. While history is often said to begin with written records, this work acknowledges the vast pre-literate era and highlights how modern tools-archaeology, digital archives, and data analysis-allow us to illuminate the shadows of humanity's earliest stories.

At its core, this book is an invitation to curiosity. It challenges readers to question what they believe they know about history and themselves, encouraging deeper exploration into the truths beneath the surface. More than a compilation of intriguing facts, it serves as a catalyst for learning, reflection, and discovery.

This project is also deeply personal. After nearly twenty years as a kitchen designer, stepping into non-technical historical writing once seemed improbable. Yet a lifelong passion for learning led to A World to Be Perfected and now continues with The Trivia Group Volume 1, the beginning of a series meant to enlighten, inspire, and connect readers through shared knowledge.

What began with four friends has grown into a diverse community of 55 contributors from Brazil, Haiti, Trinidad and Tobago, Canada, Japan, and across the United States. Together, we celebrate our differences while affirming our shared humanity.

As we move forward in a fast-paced world, this book calls us to remember our roots, honor those who came before us, and ensure their stories endure. Welcome to The Trivia Group Volume 1: Things and Info on General History.
