THE SCENT OF LAVENDER: FINDING PEACE in LETTING Go

The sole aspiration of a young girl was to reunite with her beloved grandmother, yearning for the warmth and comfort of their bond, which felt more profound than that with her own mother. However, as time passed, this dream began to fade, overshadowed by new aspirations that emerged from the trauma she endured. She believed that embracing motherhood and embodying the ideal wife could alleviate her heartache, allowing her to create a vision of the perfect family. Yet, the reality remains that attempts to escape the past often lead to its resurgence, manifesting in new ways across generations.

Author and public speaker Kim Corder shares her journey of finding peace and releasing pain, a path that many struggle to navigate in a world that often encourages the suppression of suffering rather than embracing it for healing.
