The Satanic Pact and Dietrich's Quest - Paperback

by Hans Farwig (Author), David Farwig (Joint Author), Corina Farwig (Joint Author)

There is no doubt Nazi Germany arose from a dark and troublesome political past, but it also spawned a leader whose obsession with Aryan lore and the supremacy of the idealized "Übermensch" ultimately led to an insane and sadistic policy of domination and ethnic cleansing. Imagining a story steeped in real events from this era and involving true-to-life characters, author Hans Farwig introduces us to Willy Müller, an unwitting but loyal Luftwaffe pilot who becomes ensnared in the machinations of a malevolent pact between the Fuehrer and a few select Islamist tribal leaders. Even after Hitler's demise, this pact lives on through a legacy of organized crime, religious extremism, and the ruthless search for a rare and priceless treasure.

Years later, the handsome young German academic, Dietrich Hessel, makes a life-changing decision to follow a mandate of a mysterious and sublime entity appearing in a recurring dream. Joined by his beautiful wife Erika, the couple embark on a dangerous and thrilling adventure in search of the legendary treasure, taking them from the remote Andean Mountains of Chile to the arid deserts of Saudi Arabia and Egypt and beyond. Through their journey they not only uncover deeply held secrets, but soon realize their true calling in life.
