The Perfect Prescription: Godly Wisdom on Public Health - Paperback

by Reigh Simuzoshya (Author)

The Bible is replete with holistic principles and guidelines, which if applied consistently can prevent disease and promote optimum health. Preventive measures have the advantage of being less costly than curative therapies. The principles articulated in this volume can be easily applied at individual, family and community levels.

The human body is a fearful and wonderful machine capable of performing incredible functions. The cell, which is the fundamental unit or basic building block of the body, is alive and at work continuously to maintain and restore itself in accordance with its DNA code and to ensure a healthy functional balance in the body known as homeostasis. God has stamped his own image on the human body. That is why human life is sacred. How absurd it is then to look elsewhere other than to the omnipotent and omniscient Manufacturer of the human body for guidelines regarding its well-being and health!

Far from being an obsolete and archaic document saturated with myths and superstition, the Bible is a rich repository, an inexhaustible mine, of counsel for all facets of life including health and longevity. For instance, the laws regarding sanitary practices, quarantining of people with contagious diseases, prevention of infectious and chronic diseases were chronicled in the Bible millennia before modern scientific "landmark discoveries" such as the Germ Theory of Disease, bacteria, quarantine and many others.

Explore these time-tasted, efficacious principles that are foundational for disease prevention, health enhancement and long life straight from the Word of the Creator of our bodies himself with The Perfect Prescription.
