The Pen of a Ready Writer - Paperback

by Bishop Donald R. Downing (Author)

"Write the vision and make it plain upon tablets that he may run that readeth it." Habakkuk 2:2 Just as the Gospel has been written, the vision must also be written. Where there is no written vision (foresight, perception, concept or idea) the people perish: Proverbs 29:18. The longevity of spoken words can never compare to the longevity of written documents. Believers trust in and live life according to what has been written by biblical authors in the scriptures. Great prophets such as Moses, Isaiah, Jeremiah, David and apostles such as Matthew, Mark, Luke, John and Paul were writers and authors whom God used to write and record His word, laws, and commandments. Their greater contribution to the church society was their biblical authorship and anointed penmanship as ready writers. Without their authorship, mankind would be without the scriptures, the knowledge and salvation of God. From our scholastic and judicial systems to government structure and business, men live and govern themselves by what is written upon paper with a pen. From the writing of great songs, music, and movie scripts, to our Constitution and the writing of the Declaration of Independence, the world has always been an open vineyard for ready writers. Church leadership must now recognize the ministry of writing, The Authorship of the Trinity and the importance of born again editors, publishers, authors and writers being given their rightful position in the local church assembly. This expository and revelatory book encourages writers to be ready at all times. It reveals Jesus Christ as Yeshua, the Lord of authors, the Ready Writer who is busy writing Christian names in His Lamb's Book of Life. King David, the great writer, psalmist, and spiritual heart specialist, in Psalm 45:1 said this: "My heart is overflowing (indicting, writing) with a good matter." My tongue is the pen of a Ready Writer. David was a great writer and author after God's own Heart. The Heart is the key. With a pen we write upon paper, but with our mouth and tongue we write upon the mind and Heart. Though millions of books, poems, articles and laws have been written upon paper with a ready pen, yet nothing is to be compared to what is written within us upon our spiritual hearts and mind. Dr. Donald R. Downing is the author of 32 books and is known as the Heart Doctor, the Apostle for the "Gospel of the Heart." In this book he inspires writers to write and church leaders to receive the Ministry of Writing and authors into their local church assembly. He believes that few of the biblical authors and today's writers have been given their rightful accolades and open respect in the church body of Christ. He no longer believes that his leadership is greater than his authorship, neither are his teaching and preaching ministry greater than his penmanship. "It is written" has greatly impacted his mind and heart. As the founder of the Heart to Heart Christian Centers, he encourages every publicist, editor and author to be sure to keep a ready pen, a pure heart and a writing mind.
