The Mage of Mourning: An Epic Portal Fantasy - Paperback

by Dreamer's Riot (Author)

The second installment of this adventurous fantasy sees Lillith reaching daring new heights--and some dangerous lows.

Lillith has always possessed the ability to feel the grief of the people around her. But now she can harness it and put it to use as well. That said, her recent exploits have labeled her a monster and a villain, specifically "the Mage of Mourning." This title is a nod to both the carnage she leaves in her wake and the tools she implements in the process. But Lillith doesn't need a good reputation. She doesn't even need this life. And she certainly doesn't need to keep her hands free of blood.

Now, despite having helped as many people as possible in Satusmor, giving the common folk there access to basic necessities, Lillith's job is far from done. She's determined to wreak a little havoc in the city of Visenar, but unfortunately, havoc has a lot in store for her. She'll need the help of an intriguing woman named Sarafyna, who has her own powers and complex history--and who interests Lillith in more ways than one . . .

Things get more complicated every day, what with new friends and foes, the unseen Collector, and the mysterious, sacred Radiant Woods. But abolishing slavery, encouraging the widespread use of mana, and ending the monarchy isn't going to happen overnight.

Featuring a brash, brainy heroine who wields magic, kicks ass, and still makes time for romance, the Otherworldly Anarchist series is perfect for fans of female-centric progression fantasy.

The second volume of the hit isekai adventure series--with almost a million views on Royal Road--now available in paperback, ebook, and audiobook!
