The Hero of Faithfulness - Paperback

by Steve Barckholtz (Author)

- How many Christians are marking time, waiting for the last days of their life to play out? - How many Christians are passionlessly praying for the day they can "retire" to heaven? - Are YOU going through the motions wondering if YOUR life makes a difference? Hebrews 11 is filled with insight into the lives of Old Testament men and women who were anything but marking time until they died. More than insight into living out human faith, Hebrews 11 reveals the divine faithfulness of Almighty God! Through the lives of Abel, Enoch, Jephthah, and many others, God reveals His divine attributes at work in the lives of ordinary men and women like YOU. Even as Moses, Rahab, Gideon, and the rest of the Old Testament patriarchs struggled to live out their faith, God showed Himself over and over to be "THE Hero of Faithfulness"! Today, the same "Hero of Faithfulness" wants to reveal His divine attributes at work in YOUR life! God wants to use YOUR life to display His faithfulness! As you read "THE Hero of Faithfulness," you will discover more about how God's divine attributes are on display in YOUR life! After 20 years as a parish pastor serving congregations in Mammoth Lakes, CA, Elko, NV, and Hailey, ID, Steve Barckholtz left the parish ministry in 2012, to follow God's leading to pursue the vocation of a writer. This book is the first fruit of that following. Steve has been married to Wendy for 21 years. They have two children, Zane and Mallory. Along with their two cats, Bevo and Leon, the Barckholtz family resides in Hailey, Idaho.
