The Grace Bible: Galatians - Paperback

by Paul Ellis (Author)

What is freedom? How do I get free? Do I need to keep the law? How do I get right with God? Am I God's son or servant? How do I walk in the spirit? How do I live the new creation life? These are some of the questions Paul addresses in his letter to the Galatians.

The theme of Galatians has traditionally been framed as the fight to stay free or grace vs law. Yet the beating heart of Paul's letter is "Christ lives in me." Because Christ lives in me, I can be free, I can bear fruit that lasts, and I can enjoy the blessings of God. The letter to the Galatians is not a polemic against the law and those who preach it. It is a clarion call to live the life that is ours in Christ.

With more than 600 entries, The Grace Bible: Galatians is a verse-by-verse commentary on what may be the most liberating document written. This easy-to-read book is an invaluable resource for anyone who wants to explore the treasures in Scripture, including pastors, teachers, and students. This practical book will strengthen your faith and help you grow in the grace of God.

Have you ever asked, "How do I read this scripture through a new covenant lens?" Then The Grace Bible series is for you. Here you will find no guilt or condemnation, and none of the usual calls for blood, sweat, and tears. Our focus will be on Jesus Christ-who he is, what he has done, and what you can do because of what he has done.

The Grace Bible is for the weary and those tired of pretending. It's for the burned out, the fed up, and the knocked down. It's for those who are in distress, or debt, or are discontented. It's for all who need grace.
