by Laurie E. Smith (Author)

An easy-to-read guidebook to how flow--that feeling we all get when we're so into what we're doing that we lose track of time--can change our lives. The Flow Habit is filled with simple exercises and inspiring stories from people around the world who have experienced the life-changing magic of flow.

The Flow Habit is for anyone ready for a turning point. If you've lost your spark, or dream of something more for your life, this is the book for you. Author Laurie Smith shows how simply spending a few minutes each day doing activities that truly bring us joy can dramatically change our lives. That's because when we do what we love, we discover the power of the flow state--that feeling we get when we're so into what we're doing that we lose track of time.

When we're in a flow state, the volume of that inner critic turns way down. We stop worrying about what other people think. We no longer feel pulled in lots of different directions by outer distractions. Instead, we feel a sense of calm, confidence, and purpose. We know what matters most in each moment, and how we can help.

Flow is not just the key to feeling positive. It's also the key to reconnecting with who we really are, our unique gifts, and finding fun ways to share them with the world. The more we experience flow, the more flow becomes a habit, and the better our overall lives tend to flow too. In flow, we often have experiences far more wonderful than anything we could have ever imagined.

The Flow Habit is full of tips and exercises to help you uncover your unique formula for flow, rekindle your spark, and create a plan for following with where your soul is calling you to go.
