The Crown and the Scars: A Journey To Healing..... - Paperback

by Nowa Fludd (Author)

The Crown And The Scars is a raw and powerful memoir of survival, resilience, and redemption. Nowa Arktreshia takes readers on a journey through the darkest moments of her life-enduring childhood trauma, navigating the foster care system, and facing the challenges of being a teen mother. Through pain, heartbreak, and struggle, she fought to break free from cycles meant to keep her bound. With unwavering faith and determination, she transformed her scars into strength, refusing to let her past define her future. This book is not just her testimony-it's an invitation for others to find the courage to own their truth. The Crown And The Scars is a story of rising, healing, and reclaiming the power to write your own ending.

Nowa Arktreshia was born and raised in Snowden, a rural unincorporated community in Mount Pleasant, SC, Nowa Arktreshia grew up in a world that felt anything but secure. Her childhood was strange-happiness was not something she remembers holding onto. Instead, it was shaped by experiences no child should have to endure.

Her debut book, The Crown And The Scars, was born from heartbreak. Writing was not just a creative outlet. It was a necessity. It became her way of reclaiming her story, of transforming pain into power. Through these pages, she isn't just sharing her truth-she is giving others the courage to do the same. She hopes readers will walk away not only understanding her better but also realizing they have the strength to tell their own stories.

If there is one lesson life has taught Nowa Arktreshia, it's this: The only person who is sure for you-is you. But that doesn't mean she walks alone. She moves forward, carrying her faith, her resilience, and the unwavering belief that she was meant for more. And she is just getting started!
