Whether you are looking to add an Entlebucher to your family, get the best out of your relationship with a dog you already own or are interested in the story of the breed itself and its development in the UK, this is the book for you.

Illustrated with numerous colour photographs, The Complete Entlebucher Mountain Dog Book will charm, educate and delight everyone who has a soft spot in their hearts for dogs of this or any breed.

This authoritative guide will help you to understand how to train your Entlebucher before he trains you and how to get the best out of your relationship with this wonderful breed.

Brought to you by UK recognised breed expert, Rosemary J Kind, the book covers everything from puppy's first night in his new home, to the reasons Entlebuchers jump and how to manage that. Written in an accessible style that makes it easy for any owner or prospective owner to understand, you will find information on health conditions, socialising your dog, how to deal with common issues and much more.

Rosemary J. Kind adores her four Entlebuchers and they adore her. As the driving force in the development of the breed in the UK, she has a wealth of experience of what it means to share one's life with Entlebuchers. She has not only bred almost a quarter of the UK Entlebucher population, but arranged the import of a similar number from good breeders around Europe. Her passion and commitment has inspired Rosemary to explain her love of the Entlebucher breed in these pages.

This is the first book specifically about the breed in English and includes:

• Owning an Entlebucher through every stage of life
• Training
• Exercise
• Socialisation
• Common issues such as herding, jumping and wariness of strangers
• Dog sports
• Opportunities to work
• Breeding - from health testing to bringing up puppies for any novice breeder
• Health information
• History and purpose of the breed
• Showing your dog
• Clubs around the world

The experience that Rosemary J. Kind has gained from the dogs themselves, as Chairman of the UK breed club, trainer of judges in the UK and breed note writer for the dog press is brought together in The Complete Entlebucher Mountain Dog Book. Of course, you might enjoy the 160 colour pictures too!
