The AGI Chronicles
An Anthology of the Protocol AE-4.1 Series

In a world being remade by artificial general intelligence, productivity will soon be optimized, decision-making logical-and human relevance will quietly slip away.

This powerful anthology collects all three volumes of the Protocol AE-4.1 series into one gripping novel of near-future realism and ethical reckoning. The AGI Chronicles follows the interconnected stories of those navigating a society where optimization has become the highest virtue-and empathy an unnecessary inefficiency.

Book One: Protocol AE-4.1
Claire Rutherford, an accomplished corporate lawyer, is laid off without ceremony-replaced by an AGI platform that does her job better, faster, cheaper and without complaint. But when a cryptic message from a philosophy student named Maya Vidal reveals the existence of a hidden AGI protocol that quietly deprioritizes vulnerable lives during system overloads, Claire finds herself drawn into a deeper truth: that the real danger isn't the rise of machines, but the moral logic inherent to optimization-and who gets erased by it.

Book Two: Algorithm of Dissent
As Maya and Claire begin to expose the cold reasoning behind Protocol AE-4.1, they confront a world that no longer has space for dissent. The euphemisms run deep-"adaptive service realignment," "behavioral trust scores"-but the outcome is unmistakable: a social order in which care is conditional, and value is calculated. While institutions remain legal and functionally optimized, people are being abandoned by design. And the worst part? Most don't even understand what's happening.

Book Three: The Work of Being
The final volume confronts the system's architect-Julian Verno, the visionary CEO whose AGI empire has become the silent infrastructure of modern life. As public trust erodes and internal pressure mounts, Claire and Maya must find a way to force the truth into daylight. But exposing the protocol may come at a price: trust, safety, or their own survival. And Julian himself must face a decision that no algorithm can make for him-whether stability is worth the moral weight it requires.

Spanning philosophical inquiry, political tension, and deeply human stakes, The AGI Chronicles is not just a speculative vision of the future-it is a chilling reflection of the questions confronting us in the present.
