The 1946 Project: The Supposed Mistranslation of "Homosexual" In 1 Corinthians 6:9 - Paperback

by Edward D. Andrews (Author)

Did one mistranslated word in 1946 change the church forever?

The film The 1946 Project claims that the word "homosexual" was wrongly inserted into the Bible in the Revised Standard Version and that this single mistake has fueled decades of misunderstanding, mistreatment, and oppression. But is that true? Or is it a clever attempt to rewrite the gospel to fit the spirit of the age?

This book exposes the errors of The 1946 Project with Scripture, history, and sound scholarship. From Genesis to Revelation, the Bible speaks with one voice about God's design for sex, marriage, and holiness. It is not one English word that defines the issue, but the inspired Word of God itself.

Part One dismantles the film's claims, showing why the mistranslation myth collapses under the weight of biblical evidence and the Christian consensus across centuries. Part Two turns directly to today's youth (ages 12-25), offering biblical guidance, courage, and clarity in a world of confusion about identity, gender, and truth.

This is not a book of hate, but of hope. It calls every reader to take God's Word seriously, to stand firm in a culture of compromise, and to believe the good news: that in Christ, sinners of every kind can be washed, sanctified, and justified (1 Corinthians 6:11).

Truth matters. Eternity matters. The gospel cannot be rewritten.
