Every action we take has an impact, and that we can change our future by making an effort. We will be able to value what we have, give away what we don't need, and never forget those who once helped us for everything can change from one day to another, and it may be we who need the help we did not offer. We will search deep inside, asking for what we really want to become, and what we really need in order to be happier. It will tell us to value the teaching of animals, thanking them for being part of our lives, and learning from the feelings only they can awaken within us. It will bring us closer to a more realistic level of consciousness, trying to be as fair as we would like them to be to us without double standards. We can fight our deepest fears, and thus free ourselves from them. It will show us that ethics and morality, like the words of a person, cannot be bought, and always have to be present in our actions. We are much more courageous than we can even imagine, but without thinking that we are better than anyone else. The 17 Beats of Your Life is not just a book of stories; It will be the beginning of our new life and a more just way of understanding it. But above all, and most importantly, it will teach us who we really are, and it will give us the option to change if we do not like the reflection we see of ourselves...
