Tell Me about You Grandpa: If You Don't Tell Me, Who Will? This Is Important to Me! People You Will Never Know Will Want to Read This. Your Futur - Paperback

by T. D. Sheltraw (Author)

Do you really know your Grandma or Grandpa? For that matter, what do you really know about your Mom or Dad's life? Something as simple as, "What did you want to be when you grew up" is rarely known by children and grandchildren.

But what about the relatives that so many of us never even knew. Wouldn't it be great to know something about them? We all have relatives whose names we've never even heard. Maybe Grandpa and Grandma could give us a window into those people's lives too.

Even if they don't ask, grandchildren will want to know all about you someday. What if it's too late? This Life Journal is a great way to tell your grandchildren all about you.

The whole book is an unbelievable collection of prompts helping you recall a life lived so long ago. There are enough fill-in-the-blank areas to allow you to record your lifetime memories and family history.

Now you can pass on valuable family traditions, tell what life was like decades ago, how holidays were celebrated, and tell about foods and special dishes that have long since faded into distant memories. It would be great to share what life was like when you were a kid. Give them that glimpse as you recount stories about yourself and the people you loved.

This is not just a gift for your children or grandchildren. This book will be shared with their children and generations to come. Seriously, do you have anything like this in your family right now? Wouldn't it be great if you could read a real-life account of relatives you've never heard of and their life and times?

Think about it. The Old West, the turn of the 20th century, the first horseless carriages or any history-making event detailed in First Person handwriting. It does not get any better than that, does it?

This is a perfect gift for a loved one to complete and then give as a gift. A grandparent would be thrilled to recount their life and write it down to be remembered for centuries. Ask any Seasoned Citizen a question and you already know they would be delighted to give unbelievably extensive answers.

Your relative will have a cherished opportunity to share their memories that have been locked away for decades and you will get to know them in a way that would be otherwise impossible.

Give it as a gift:

This is a perfect gift for any holiday, but Christmas is especially appropriate. Everyone has a lifetime of Christmas Memories and this is a perfect way to start your loved one out on their trip down memory lane. A trip they will take with excitement, enthusiasm, joy and love. Trust me, they know how special a gift it is when they share their life with you.

This is a gift you give to them that becomes a cherished gift for you.

And don't forget that the people you might give this journal to lived in very different times than you live in. Everything was different. Imagine a time when there was no refrigeration or indoor plumbing. Imagine really walking 10 miles to shop. Imagine several people sleeping in one bed, just to keep warm on a freezing night.

The only way to know a loved one's story is to ask. Unfortunately, someday it will be too late to ask. All that history will be lost forever. And something most of us do not know is that by asking someone for their life story you show them that their life mattered, that they are loved, and not only do you want to know their story, but you want to share it. If they are getting up in years, this will be like a shot of the best life can offer. Someone cares and they are loved! For them, that's as good as it gets.

Remember, each life is unique. Let them record their life, in their words and in their hand.

Buy this book right now. A whole generation will thank you for it. Your loved one will thank you too!
