Teeth - Paperback

by Kelli Owen (Author)

When the teeth come in, so does the fear.

Vampires walk among us. They're not creatures of myth. They're called lamians, and their heritage reveals itself at puberty with a sudden change of teeth. They live, love, and die like everyone else... but the world doesn't see them that way.

In the small town of Riverside, teenagers Tamara, Madison, and Dillon discover their lamian identity-and the brutal prejudice that follows. Friends turn into bullies. Parents become threats. The community whispers, points, and waits for a reason to strike.

Then the killings begin. Bodies appear, torn and bloodied, and fear ignites into hysteria. The police are under pressure, neighbors are quick to accuse, and the fragile balance between human and lamian threatens to shatter.

TEETH is dark, unsettling, and deeply human-reimagining the vampire mythos through the lens of small-town suspicion and everyday prejudice, where survival means more than just growing fangs.

Perfect for readers who want:

• Gritty, urban-realism that takes on vampire lore (no fantasy kingdoms, no gothic nightclubs, no sparkles)
• Social-horror themes: identity, fear, and the cost of othering
