Take a Walk Through Life with LED Light: The Wonders and Power of LED - Paperback

by Joyce Osborn Wilson (Author)

Over 120 years ago, a doctor began using colored light to treat his patients. He was vilified by his peers, and his equipment and all but one copy of his research were destroyed. Only now are we beginning to discover this pioneer was right all along.

Take a Walk through Life with LED Light describes the amazing possibilities of red and blue light-emitting diodes, as told by a woman who has seen firsthand how versatile and exciting noninvasive LED therapy can be.

As a beauty salon owner and skin-care specialist, Joyce Osborn Wilson realized how effectively blue LEDs killed the bacteria that causes acne years before the FDA approved LEDs for skin treatments. She used blue LEDs for toning facials and stress reduction and discovered firsthand how LED therapy can treat carpal tunnel syndrome-another observation only recently verified by the FDA.

Hospitals use blue LED to treat jaundiced newborns. Red LED therapy can boost healing and prevent mucositis sores during cancer treatment. LEDs can whiten teeth, promote hair growth, and treat periodontal disease.

Discover the amazing world of noninvasive light therapy and Wilson's own remarkable journey through years of personal research into a fascinating field we're only just beginning to understand.
