Suspicious Small Print - Paperback

by Isabella Bassett (Author)

Life in Switzerland is picture-perfect until someone gets murdered.

Old Bookstore Cozy Mystery #3

In the town of Bellinzona, a sleepy backwater in Southern Switzerland, three medieval castles stand overlooking the small provincial town. Their function as sentinels of the valley now long obsolete. But they guard a secret that someone is willing to kill for.

Bellinzona is frothing with excitement over rumors of a long-forgotten treasure. And when the old bookstore where Anne works-in nearby Ascona, a town famous in Switzerland for its Mediterranean flair-supplies a crucial piece to the treasure puzzle, even the store's peculiar black cat struts about with its head held high.

But when a world-famous archaeologist, specializing in Roman history, arrives from England, heads begin to roll, literally. Is this a simple case of treasure hunting greed, or is something more sinister going on?

With the bookstore implicated, Anne once again gets caught up in the mystery. But the excavated treasure brings buried private issues to the surface, and if Anne is not careful, she might just end up as a small print footnote in the book of life.

Suspicious Small Print is the third installment in the Old Bookstore series of cozy murder mysteries you can read in about 2 hours. Join a page-turning treasure hunt through the historic towns of Ascona and Bellinzona, in Southern Switzerland, on the trail of a forgotten secret.
