Spirits United: Historical Cozy Mystery - Paperback

by Alice Duncan (Author)

A Dead Body in the Library? Daisy's Not Checking That Out!

-Pasadena, California, 1924-

Daisy Gumm Majesty, spiritualist-medium to Pasadena's elite (or at least those with more money than sense), was only looking for a good book. What she found was a corpse tucked among the library's biography stacks.

Worse, her old friend Mr. Browning is standing over the body-holding the murder weapon. Detective Sam Rotondo isn't one to ignore the obvious, and now Daisy has to juggle proving Browning's innocence while dodging Sam's grumpy disapproval.

But this case isn't just about a dead librarian. A professor's geological study, a so-called gold rush, and a mad scientist somehow collide in a mystery only Daisy could stumble into. And with a killer still on the loose, she may need more than her usual dose of creative storytelling to make it out alive.

Alice Duncan spent years avoiding what she knew she should be doing-writing-by professionally folk dancing instead. Eventually, her muse won the battle, and she's been crafting engaging historical cozy mysteries ever since. Now a proud resident of Roswell, New Mexico, Alice enjoys the lack of smog and crowds while spoiling her beloved herd of wild dachshunds. Visit her at www.aliceduncan.net.

Don't miss a moment of the action with Daisy and her cadre of friends as they solve mysteries in 1920s Pasadena! Each story stands alone but is best enjoyed in order.
