Something Abundant - Paperback

by Angie Nichols (Author)

Although the present generation sees God's design for sex twisted into all manner of counterfeit pleasures, earthly marriage and its privilege of sexual intimacy are meant to parallel the intense love of Christ for His Church. But a good Christian woman should not compare sex to a relationship with Jesus. Or should she? We were created to be the pure and flawless object of a royal King's obsession. It is time His holy desire for intimacy with His bride boldly shines in immaculate light. But the love story rarely looks as we'd expect. From the tragic and untimely death of her father when she was eleven, to the cancer diagnosis of her four year-old only child, author Angie Nichols struggled to cling to childhood beliefs in a "good God." Your story is different in detail, but is likely similar in disillusion. Something Abundant is the coming-of-age love story of a child of God maturing into the bride of Christ told through the Biblical precepts of wheat harvest, the threshing floor, and ancient Jewish wedding customs. Applying Old Testament precepts (including God's yearly feasts) and Scriptural truths from the New Covenant, you will glean understanding of Christ's relentless pursuit to bring His bride to a holy place of intimacy. Daughter, can you hear the melody of divine engagement? Few dare to believe there is more to this Love story. Now is the time. He is coming. His desire is for you. If you choose to read on, get ready. This is your cue. Here comes the bride.... Angie Nichols and her husband Chris make their home among the tall pines of east Texas. Mycah, their only child, is proof of God's healing. Angie is a writer, author, speaker, and founder of Something Abundant Ministries. www.somethingabundantministries.org
