I love the guy, but never want him to be at my table."

Why you need to be a Short Stack Ninja

Playing below thirty big blinds is an important piece of tournament strategy that is not well represented in poker literature. But world champion and professional poker coach Chris 'Fox' Wallace has compiled all the best advice into a simple set of weapons that will transform your short stack game and help you transform from "push and pray" into a highly skilled short stack ninja.

In this book we learn about fold equity. How it works and where to find it with different stack sizes. Using these strategies not only earned Wallace a world championship and a World Series of Poker bracelet, but two deep runs in the last three years at the World Series of Poker Main event and over a million dollars in live tournament winnings.

Simple and concise descriptions, charts and graphics, and a list of weapons that are available with each stack size will make this approach to the game, one the pros already use, accessible to the amateur like never before. In each section we also learn about how to avoid trouble against other pros who already use these methods, how to exploit the amateurs who don't, and methods for attacking short stacks when we are the bigger stack.

There is no doubt that cards are important. But this book will teach you that chips are just as important, a key piece of the puzzle that many players don't have. Each Chapter talks about how to use a specific stack size and while Wallace notes that the reader can skip the math section and just use his advice, the math and logic are provided for those who are curious. He backs up every one of his assertions with numbers that show why these techniques work.

Sample hands are also provided for each stack size, as well as a a simple system for the push/fold section that saves the reader from memorizing endless charts. Game Theory Optimal push/fold charts are also provided, but after learning Wallace's simple system, there will be no reason to spend time memorizing them.
