Shifted - Paperback

by Federica Robinson-Bryant (Author)

"Shifted" is an unflinching, 14-day journey into the depths of one woman's life, a raw and honest exploration of the past, present, and the potential for a radically transformed future. From the very first page, the author lays bare her soul, inviting readers to witness her process of dismantling old narratives and rebuilding a life defined by freedom.

Chapter 1 opens with a confession: the struggle to begin, the constant rewrites, and the ultimate decision to "just do it." This is not a polished, sanitized story. It's a real-time unraveling, a testament to the courage it takes to confront the shadows of the past.

With a commitment to transparency and healing, the author navigates the complexities of her experiences, promising to craft her story without infringing on the stories of others. She acknowledges the weariness that comes from years of carrying burdens, the need to release blame, and the urgent desire to move forward.

Readers will be drawn into her world of "long dirt roads" and "wading in the water," a metaphor for the meandering, often chaotic nature of her journey. She candidly reveals the "unconscious facades and rebellions" that once defined her, the lost sense of self, and the stark contrast between the roles she played and the person she yearns to become.

"Shifted" is more than a memoir; it's a declaration of intent. It's a promise to embrace the unknown, to pivot rather than restart, and to discover a "free me." Woven into the narrative are powerful poems, like "Dare to Be Free" and "Destiny's Call," that capture the essence of each chapter, offering a glimpse into the author's inner world.

Prepare for jaw-dropping moments of vulnerability and profound revelations as the author embarks on a journey of self-discovery, healing, and ultimately, the creation of a life lived authentically and freely. "Shifted" is an invitation to witness the transformative power of embracing the past to create a future of liberation.
