Script for Life: In the Midst of the Chaos - Paperback

by Gary Casale (Author)

"Script for Life, In The Midst of The Chaos" is a book that illustrates the connection between the Old and New Testaments of The Holy Scriptures through the Hebrew words and Paleo Hebrew letters. What does the original language, Paleo Hebrew, indicate about the words we commonly use when discussing the Bible, the basis and foundation of our faith? See the inspired connection between the Paleo Hebrew and the New Covenant, Christian Faith. Understand the Scriptures in a Paleo Hebrew context and from a Biblical Hebrew idiomatic perspective. Realize that the dictionary for the "New Testament" Scriptures is the "Old Testament". One can have a deeper understanding of the Bible by knowing the original meaning of the word concepts, as they were intended to be understood, at the time they were written, prior to cultural influences. As you read this book, you will see the simple meaning and thought, yet depth of implication in the letters and the profound significance of the inspired Words found in the Scriptures. The letters of Scripture, originally drawn as sketches, images, or pictures, present a very rich, prophetic and meaningful connotation of the written Word, as it was first documented thousands of years ago in Paleo Hebrew. You will see how the pictographic letters and language bring out a layer of meaning in the text, corresponding to the original intent, and sometimes, the prophetic nature of the words. The Paleo Hebrew images provide us with another layer for meditation and contemplation for realizing the richness of the Holy Scriptures. While reading and studying The Words of The LORD from a Paleo Hebrew perspective, the inspiration found within the Bible becomes even more evident and its Divine authority can be seen to be unmistakable. Our faith originated in a Hebrew context and continued its development throughout the ages in the same framework. Even though the languages describing our faith have evolved, the principal contextual meaning should remain constant. The Hebrew and Paleo Hebrew directly provide us with insight into the deep-rooted meaning of the original essential text. Our faith exists in a Judaeo Christian setting and we must utilize the Hebrew language for an accurate perspective. A good example to illustrate the concept of the Paleo Hebrew found in this book is as follows: Every letter in the ancient Hebrew was drawn as a picture or sketch. The combination of the letters/sketches formed a word. To further illustrate, here is an example of a word found in this book: The letter Pey in the Hebrew is a sketch of a "mouth" and sounds like the letter "P" in English. The Pey indicates a voice, talking or speaking. The letter Lamed in the Hebrew is a sketch of a "shepherd staff" and sounds like the letter "L" in English. The Lamed represents a shepherd, teacher or someone with authority. When putting these letters together in a word; Pey, Lamed, Lamed; or Mouth, Staff, Staff, you get the word Palal in Hebrew. In English the word is translated as Pray. The Paleo Hebrew representation of the sketches is a mouth with two staffs. The pictographic meaning of this letter/picture combination in direct context is to Speak to The Shepherd of Shepherd's. This is a perfect representation of the word Palal in Hebrew and the word Pray in English. Examples like this are found throughout "Script for Life, In the Midst of the Chaos", presenting a deeper meaning of the words found throughout the Holy Scriptures for your devotional reading and reflection.
