by Dawne Dominique (Illustrator), Kathryn Meyer Griffith (Author)

Scraps of Paper by Kathryn Meyer Griffith THE FIRST SPOOKIE TOWN MURDER MYSTERY. Abigail Sutton's beloved husband walks out one night, doesn't return, and two years later is found dead, a victim of a long-ago crime. It's made her sympathetic to the missing and their families. Starting her new life, Abigail moves to small town and buys a fixer-upper house left empty when old Edna Summers died. Once it was also home to Edna's younger sister, Emily, and her two children, Jenny and Christopher, who, people believe, drove away one night, thirty years ago, and just never came back. But in renovating the house Abigail finds scraps of paper hidden behind baseboards and tucked beneath the porch that hint the three could have been victims of foul play. Then she finds their graves hidden in the woods behind the house and with the help of eccentric townspeople and ex-homicide detective, Frank Lester, she discovers the three were murdered. Then she and Frank try to uncover who killed them and why...but in the process awaken the ire of the murderer. ***(Prequel to All Things Slip Away, Ghosts Beneath Us, Witches Among Us, What Lies Beneath the Graves, All Who Came Before, When the Fireflies Returned, Echoes of Other Times, Waiting Beyond the Veil, Remember Those Once Loved, and Concerning Good and Evil.)

Author Biography

Since childhood I've been an artist & worked as a corporate graphic designer & for newspapers for 23 years before I quit to write full time. But I'd already begun writing novels at 21, 46years ago, and have had 27 previous novels & 12 short stories most originally published from traditional publishers. But I've gone into self-publishing in a big way since 2012; and upon getting most of my previous books' full rights back for the first time in 33 years, have self-published them all as well as new ones. My Dinosaur Lake novels & Spookie Town Mysteries are my best-sellers. Been married to Russell for 40 years; have a son, 2 grandchildren and one great granddaughter and I live in a small quaint town in Illinois. We have a quirky cat, Sasha, and the three of us live happily in an old house in the heart of town. Though I've been an artist, a folk rock singer in my youth with my brother Jim, writing has always been my greatest passion, my butterfly stage, & I'll probably write stories until the day I die, or until my memory goes. 2012 EPIC EBOOK AWARDS *Finalist* for my horror novel The Last Vampire 2014 EPIC EBOOK AWARDS * Finalist * for her thriller novel Dinosaur Lake.
