Run From Me: If the Morning Comes - Paperback

by Cristiana Janell (Author)

Queen Ivy of Asmye has overtaken her father's seat to become the new figurehead of Iosnos. War has spread to all borders of the countryside, and there is no telling if King Rian's army will find victory.

Rian's devotion to Ivy comes under question as the monarchs struggle to reconcile strategy and duty. Treachery inside the castle and out leads all to face their innermost demons and unlikely pairings to fight for a common goal. While completing his task to reforge his father's sword, Rian wonders if the pain and loss are worth the high price.

As Ivy's heart and conscience guide her down separate paths, she takes solace in understanding her place and the blessings ordained for her by the Goddess of Life and Beauty, Ouraina. Father Trevarthan struggles to accept that there may be paths to success outside of his strict teachings regarding Adievasinis, the God of Power, while Iosnote Priestess Natassa pushes her own agenda forward.

Adeshbu soldier and Queensguard Luc finally sees the options laid before him, but will any satisfy his desires to love Ivy and be loved in return?

Life and death guide all through this exciting finale, bringing Ivy's decisions to an exhilarating head. What she knows to be truth and what she desires will alter the path forward for her country and her people, but will her selfishness or foresight win?
