Reconcíliate Con La Comida / Make Peace with Food - Paperback

by Mónica Hefferan (Author)

ENGLISH DESCRIPTION

How Emotions, Thoughts, and the Mind Influence Your Eating Habits.

Nutritionist Mónica Hefferan explains how emotions, thoughts, and self-love are key factors in making peace with your body.

This is not a diet book; rather, it is one in which you will find the honest and empathetic voice of the author, who has embodied the struggle of many women with their body image and weight. It is a voice that reveals vulnerability and, after overcoming an eating disorder, shares how it became possible to live with greater authenticity and fulfillment.

Like her, you will go through a process of introspection and personal development. You will stop to ask yourself, "What do I usually think about myself?" and "How do I relate to myself?" Through this, you will discover that the way you feel and talk to yourself is directly related to how you eat and metabolize what you consume. Similarly, you will learn that through self-care and spiritual growth, it is possible to reconcile not only with food but also -- and primarily -- with yourself, which will completely change the results you desire to feel better about your image.
