Ready: Finding the Courage to Face the Unknown - Bible Study Book: A Six-Week Study on Joshua 1-5 - Paperback

by Heather Marshall Dixon (Author)

BIBLE STUDY FOR WOMEN: The phone call in the middle of the night. The diagnosis you don't think you can face. The ministry you don't think you are strong enough for. The unknown is always beckoning, threatening to paralyze and promising to keep us from the victorious Christian life that is rightfully ours. What if we could find the courage to readily face whatever falls upon our path? The answer may be easier than you think. It's found in God's call to get ready, to make preparations for His will, and to watch for His movement. This call is written all throughout the Bible, but the specific tools we need to do those things are found in the first five chapters of Joshua. They have been written for you, and so has this study. As we follow the Israelite journey across the Jordan River and into the Promised Land, we will learn how to prepare our hearts for the unknown in our futures. Leaning on wisdom from Joshua, a man who was always at the ready, this six-week Bible study on Joshua 1-5 will prepare you for: *the battle*the blessing*and the pressing onward toward our prize. Together, we'll find God's plan for the woman who knows the battle is coming, but refuses to leave the front line. And you'll find the courage to face the unknown.
