PreAdamic Creation-Genesis Gap: The Ruin-Reconstruction Biblical Doctrine - Paperback

by James M. Lowrance (Author)

The "Genesis Gap" and "The Ruin Reconstruction Theory" teaching is based on something observed in the scriptures by Bible scholars as far back as the 2nd century AD. The doctrine recognizes a gap of time that is revealed in the first 2 verses of Genesis chapter 1 and a catastrophic judgment that caused the earth to become "without form and void" (Genesis 1:2). There are however many other scriptural references that reveal a pre-adamic event that involved the revolt of angels led by the archangel Lucifer that is believed to have caused this catastrophic judgment of flood and darkness on the earth, prior to the re-creation of it as the domain for Adam (mankind). There are many reputable Bible study sources, including Study-Bibles and respected Christian teachers and preachers who accept the doctrine as being scripturally-backed. There are also reputable teachers and Bible scholars who do not accept it. [Readers please note that while this doctrine passes scriptural rules and even common sense ones, it is still a necessity for me to add reminder, that all scripture studies, should and do come under reasonable scrutiny. This should be the stance for every Christian.] It is my intention in this book, to offer scriptural backing for this doctrinal belief that I believe to be well-substantiated in the Holy Scriptures. If this subject is of interest to you and you have not heard or read a complete representation of this teaching, you will be intrigued by what is contained within the chapters of this book. - Jim LowranceCHAPTER ONE: What is the Genesis Gap?CHAPTER TWO: Where Did the Dinosaurs Go - Biblically Speaking?(Did Noah Have Them On The Ark?)CHAPTER THREE: Old and Young Earth Creationist Views (Which View Holds 100-Percent Correct Interpretation?)CHAPTER FOUR: What Sin Caused Lucifer to Become Satan?
