Pain That Heals Unforgiveness - Paperback

by Carliss Cole (Author), Kerri Holloway (Editor), Jeffrey Sass (Cover Design by)

Pain is a common factor in our lives. We can't escape it, as it's often the result of factors beyond our control. Sometimes, pain is a consequence of our own choices. Other times, pain comes from what others have done, or simply as a part of life's circumstances. In my previous book, Pain That Heals (Witty Writings, 2011), I demonstrated the steps in acknowledging the presence of pain and facing its source head-on. The first step on the road to recovery is to acknowledge: "I have pain in my life." The next step is to recognize: "I have unforgiveness in my life." All of us struggle with unforgiveness in some area of our lives, whether we realize it or not. In Pain That Heals Unforgiveness, I created scripted scenarios from early childhood and beyond to demonstrate how pain affects every area of your life. Learn to recognize the patterns and get the answers to challenging questions, including:

• Why you have trust issues with people
• Why you often seem to overreact to certain situations
• What situations trigger your reactions
• How unforgiveness affects your behavior, attitude, and future relationships
• Where you can receive help through scriptures, prayer, and counsel

Included in each chapter are scriptures, a detailed prayer, and space to journal your thoughts after personal reflection. Avoiding this process will only prolong your suffering. If you're ready to move forward, discover how Pain That Heals Unforgiveness can bring peace and freedom!
