Oui!: Parisian Secrets for a Dream Wedding - Hardcover

by Delphine Manivet (Author), Anne Akrich (With)

Combining Parisian elegance with French romance, celebrity wedding-dress designer Delphine Manivet divulges her step-by-step tips for planning the ultimate, chic wedding day.

Delphine Manivet has mastered the art of chic, unforgettable weddings. Two decades ago, as a young designer and bride-to-be in search of the perfect white gown, she found only fussy dresses that didn't suit her style. In response, she designed her own, creating a sensation and launching her career as a designer. Her inspiration is the quintessential Parisienne--with elegance, style, and a je ne sais quoi mix of laid-back chic that reflects her "simple, spectacular, sensual" mantra.

Delphine has accompanied scores of future brides through their wedding preparations, becoming a trusted confidante on the range of choices and pitfalls that future couples face. Here she shares the best ideas and advice culled from her 372 sketchbooks for how to create lasting, joyful memories--from choosing a theme to designing a meaningful bouquet, from wedding party selection to picture perfect accessories, and from seating charts to post-wedding brunch festivities. She shares this advice along with checklists, timelines, and a dose of humor in this essential wedding planning guide, illustrated with her watercolors and mood boards. This charming keepsake is an indispensable resource for every bride-to-be who wants to celebrate with an unforgettable and unique event, inspired by the Parisienne's instinctively chic style.
