When Ottilie Divine, daughter of the legendary Camille Divine, moves into the famous 221B Baker Street, she never expects her first real investigation to land on her doorstep. Her old school friend Delia Wentworth's husband has gone missing from Westminster, and Ottilie feels compelled to help.
However, the mystery deepens when she encounters her odd but intriguing new neighbour: Sherlock Holmes. Claiming to be a "consulting detective," Holmes offers to help, but Ottilie, initially sceptical of this eccentric young man, prefers to work alone. Yet, as the danger mounts and the shadows of war grow darker, Ottilie is reluctantly drawn to Holmes's sharp intellect...and the assistance of his trusted friend, Dr. Watson.

In this gripping prelude to war, Ottilie finds herself entangled in a web of spies, cryptic letters, and treacherous betrayals, leading her towards a greater conspiracy that threatens not just London but the world itself. Will she allow Holmes and Watson to join her in the fight for truth, or will her independence put her in greater peril?

Perfect for fans of historical thrillers, complex mysteries, and lovers of Sherlock Holmes, The Miss Fisher Mysteries, and Agatha Christie, Ottilie Divine's War - The Diplomat Who Vanished promises a suspenseful journey filled with unexpected twists.
