Only Jesus Knows: Loving The World's Most Vulnerable - Paperback

by Karol Glueck Holmes (Author)

"And the King will answer and say to them, 'Assuredly I say to you, inasmuch as you did it unto the least of these, My brethren, you did it to Me.'"

Matthew 25:44

As Christians, we are called to love and serve the poor, the needy, and the vulnerable. Is there anyone more vulnerable than an "eternal child," one forever dependent on others for their most basic needs?

In Karol Glueck Holmes' second book, Only Jesus Knows: Loving The World's Most Vulnerable, she takes us on a journey of loving and living with her eternal child, Moise. Moise's story poignantly depicts the suffering that many families endure when their intellectually and developmentally disabled children enter adulthood.

Few people are aware of the critical lack of services and support for our most vulnerable and often voiceless individuals. Are we, as a society, turning a blind eye to the needs of the "least of these"? What would happen if the church came alongside these individuals and their families as the hands and feet of Jesus?

This achingly honest account, written with so much love, is full of joy, sorrow, faith, and perseverance.
