One Thing First: Pursuing Spiritual Intimacy with God - Paperback

by Bridgette Sims (Author)

This book is about one thing. THE one thing. The main thing. Pursuing spiritual intimacy with Christ.

This is not a how-to on having quiet time with God, although we will touch on that. We go beyond quiet time and explore different aspects of spiritual intimacy with God though the pages of Scripture.

In this book we discover:

What spiritual intimacy with God looks like on a daily basis
What God desires in a relationship
The barriers we can face as we seek to walk closer with Christ
How to stay close to God when we are hurting
How intimacy with Christ paves the way for divine favor
How to respond when God seems far away... and so much more!

There are action steps and corresponding prayers to help us along the way.

This book is for everyone - regardless of where they are in their relationship with Christ. This is for those who not believers, new believers and 'seasoned saints'!

Each topic is broken down into small sections that can be easily studied and meditated on.

This is a book that can be read over and over again. It grows with the reader! Regardless of where you are on the
journey, it will speak to where you are.
