by M. E. Hawke (Author)

A Study for Film, Theater, Bible as Literature Students or Anyone -Why is the Bible a collection of stories rather than simply a great dissertation? -Why does Scripture utilize the same plot structures that can be found in secular literature? -How can we know that the Bible isn't simply a product of the imaginations of men? One Perfect Hero presents the answers to these questions. A Christian world view of the art of storytelling emerges through use of examples from history, pop-culture, fairy tales, movies, and everyday human experiences, as well as classic literature and the Bible itself. Intriguing explanations of basic plot structure principles and their significance in the lives of every person, fictional and historical, make for a psychologically and spiritually interactive study that compels the reader to become a part of the story.
