Not Your Parents' Workplace: Critical Lessons for Interns and Young Professionals - Paperback

by Nathan Tanner (Author)

Millennials are walking into a very different business environment than the one in which our parents worked. We can't rely on the stability of a linear career path within a single company. To be successful in this new world, we must take a proactive approach to managing our careers. Not Your Parents' Workplace shares an intimate account of the highs and lows I've experienced as a young professional, including what it was like to go through the largest bankruptcy in history and how I bounced back from getting laid off. But more importantly, it teaches insightful lessons that will help you find your dream job and be successful in your career. I've always been passionate about career management. Throughout the years I've helped countless people develop the skills they've needed to find a great job. Through personal experience and the experiences of others, I've learned what it takes to succeed. I believe the stories and lessons shared in this book will help interns and young professionals learn how to proactively manage their careers and find success in the new business world.
