Naraka Warrior Vol. 1 - Paperback

by Albert Ng (Author), Jerry Cho (Illustrator)

In the liminal space between the living and the dead, the victims of a horrible train accident face judgment for the choices they've made in life. Who will be judged worthy of returning to life, and who will be sentenced to the beyond?

After a catastrophic train accident, the souls of the dead passengers find themselves in a strange space between life and death. Met by a pair of maiden messengers from the beyond, the passengers are each to be judged for their life's actions, allowing them to ascend back to the human world or be cast into the unending shadows of the depths below.

In this bizarre liminal world, the passengers find themselves standing trial, sued by those they have wronged in life. They must face their accusers and clear their name, or be forever damned!

Venture into the darkness in this manhua tale of the balance between good and evil, with a distinctly Buddhist philosophy. From visionary creators Jerry Cho and Albert Ng, Naraka Warrior has been celebrated in its native Hong Kong and was featured at the prestigious Angoulême festival. Finally available for English-speaking audiences!
