Mystery of the Hidden Stones - Paperback

by Ronna Garcia (Author)

Hang on for a bumpy ride as Will and Hannah chase clues to unlock a mystery message engraved on hidden stones. In a bizarre twist, all hope is dashed when an uninvited stranger intercepts their discovery of the destiny changing treasure.

When Will and his younger sister Hannah move to their new home on the Oregon Coast, they become mystified by cryptic clues written on small parchment scrolls from an unknown source. As they unfurl each scroll, the clues lead them into a dark valley and a deceptively quiet meadow. Will and Hannah's sleuthing skills improve and their confidence grows until a kid named Kade outwits the siblings. He meddles with their chances of solving the riddle inscribed on the mysterious stones. Compelled to find the final stone, the kids embark on a nail biting midnight mountain top trek. An unexpected encounter with lurking danger leads the kids to witness for themselves God's protection and power in a life or death decision.

Recommendation
"Ronna Garcia's Mystery of The Hidden Stones is a delightful story that will engage your whole person-body, mind, and soul. Taking us deep into the woods well beyond bedtime, Garcia writes in such a way to keep eager readers on the edge of their seats. This book is a great family read. The hidden trail of clues chapter by chapter makes it impossible to put down. Garcia also carefully intertwines important issues to discuss with your middle grade children such as broken relationships, loneliness, and making new friends, grounding each subject in the truth of Scripture. I am already waiting with great anticipation for the next book in the Coastal Kids Chronicles!"

"I had the privilege of reading, Mystery of the Hidden Stones by Ronna Garcia with my Grandson Emmitt. Every morning, while on vacation, we would read the book together. One morning Emmitt said, 'Wow, Ronna is a good writer!' This book opened the door to some great spiritual conversations about difficulties we often face in relationships and gave us so many opportunities to talk about the Lord's care of each of us. We both loved it!"
