Making Disciples: Fulfilling the Great Commission in Your Lifetime - Paperback

by Loren Vangalder (Author)

What does it mean to be a Christian?-Taking part in great praise and worship and motivational preaching?-Praying and reading the Bible?-Helping others? Doing good deeds?-Trusting in God for his blessings and prosperity?-No smoking, drinking, drugs or sex before marriage?-Giving tithes and offerings?A Christian may do those things, but the theme of this series of books is: Being a Christian is walking like Jesus walked. Now, in this third volume, we will see that Jesus calls you to change the world. How?Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age" (Matthew 28: 16-20).In light of Jesus' Great Commission, what do you think of this proposal? The only reason Jesus is delaying his return to this earth to establish his kingdom is the need to fulfill this commission and offer salvation to every nation. This book is for who truly want to walk like Jesus walked and be obedient to him, especially pastors and leaders. You will see Jesus' simple plan for world evangelism and the key to that in the Great Commission. It's time to finish the task!Jesus never commanded us to build great organizations or beautiful church buildings. He commanded us to make disciples. We don't need a new, improved, way of being the church. We just need to follow Jesus' plan.
