by Tina Wells (Author), Michael Segawa (Illustrator)

Mackenzie Blue is a star! Or she will be . . . as soon as she gets the part of an aspiring singer on a new TV pilot! But juggling auditions and the rest of her life turns out to be harder than Zee thought. Zee's friends are helping her hold everything together. But Zee doesn't like having to bail on plans--and her friends--to run to another audition. Is being a star worth it?

• Balancing School and Life: Zee has a huge TV audition, a major science fair project, and her mom is having twins! Can she juggle it all without letting someone down?
• First Crush Jitters: Working on a science project with her maybe-crush Jasper is already awkward, but what happens when her old crush Landon starts acting differently, too?
• Band Life: With Zee busy chasing stardom, her band The Beans might have to go on without her. And her rival, Kathi, is ready to take her spot!
• Illustrated Diary Entries: Get an inside look at Zee's world through her doodles, diary entries, and text messages with her best friends.
