Her textile designs are inspired by the rich tradition of knitting and crochet through the history of fashion, and are a blend of traditional handcrafting techniques and modern design and style. Vanessa has written many successful books for GMC Publications, and is also a regular contributor to other craft books and magazines. Vanessa lives with her husband in a rural village in the south of England.
