Legacy and Redemption - Paperback

by George P. Norris (Author)

Twenty years after the assassination of his father at the hands of terrorists, Tim Keegan is sworn into the ranks of the NYPD. Keegan not only wears his father's badge on his chest and patrols the same precinct that his father did, but he also inherits his father's unfinished business. While Keegan patrols some of New York City's toughest streets, he is unaware that a terrorist his father had arrested years earlier is on the street and seeking revenge. When the two men finally come face to face, one will lay dead, and a much greater terrorist plot will come to light. With the largest terrorist plot on American soil since 9/11 in the making, Detective First Grade Louis Castillo of the Joint Terrorist Task Force is called into the case. Castillo must race against time to prevent the attacks and save thousands of American lives. When Castillo gets his biggest break in the case, it comes with a hefty price; a two decade old skeleton in his closet is revealed, threatening not only the investigation, but also his career. Legacy and Redemption will take you from an Al-Qaeda training camp to the multi-agency task force charged with taking it down; from the mountains of Afghanistan to the tough streets of New York City. Here, Louis Castillo must combat not only trained terrorists, but also the internal politics of the NYPD at the highest level if he has any chance to stop the attacks.
