League of Legends - reaching the ELO summit: a guide to improve your play - Paperback

by David Rieser (Author)

First of all I want to warn you that if you are looking for some kind of "get-rich-quick" scheme here than I have to disappoint you. In fact, one of the reasons I decided to write this book was because there are only very few books about League of Legends ELO raising out there and most of them are pretty crappy. Some 20-30 page notebook promise you the world but the truth is, League of Legends is a lot more complex than you might think. Even this 140 page book is focused on only teaching you the most important things to get to Diamond ELO and beyond. League of Legends is somewhat different to a lot of other competitive computer games such as Starcraft and Counter Strike. It does not take a lot of mechanical skill on the computer to be able to play on par with the best players in the world. Knowledge about the game and mentality are way more important than most people think. This is why I am still able to reach the top of Diamond ELO without problems even after breaks of up to 7 or 8 months. The structure of the book allows both rookie players as well as veterans to learn more about the game without getting overstrained or bored. This means that it is a perfect gift for your fellow League playing friends in order for you to get a few decent ranked queue partners. I believe that you could even give this book to your parents and they would enjoy the read by learning about the complexity and depth of this game. It may not be a traditional physical sport but it certainly requires a lot of brainpower to play it successfully. This book will cover everything that you need to know but if you are looking for specifics, here is a little sneak peak into the table of content: 1.Introduction I.About me and how I got into E-Sports II.What is League of Legends?
