Knowledge of the Higher World and Its Attainment: Rudolf Steiner's Brilliant Prescription for How We Can Access Our Higher Being and Help the Earth Ev - Paperback

by Eliza Joslin Kendall (Author)

"I continue to believe that bringing Steiner and his philosophy to the public is greatly needed, especially in today's world, and that together you and I may collectively bring forth more loving and positive changes that the world deeply needs and that Steiner actually foretold."-Eliza Joslin Kendall

Have you ever felt a yearning to access the higher worlds within you? If so, you could scarcely have a better guide than Rudolf Steiner, the visionary and polymath whose evolutionary ideas, first expressed in the 19^th century, are still being felt and used today. There are dedicated "Steinerians" all over the world, using Steiner's brilliant prescriptions for becoming the kind of human being who can help transform the earth into a planet of Love.

However, Steiner's language and terminology have made it difficult for non-Steinerians to penetrate through to the brilliance and effectiveness of his Spiritual Science. Fortunately for the rest of us, Eliza Joslin Kendall has taken on the sacred work of making Steiner's books comprehensible to the spiritually dedicated layperson as well as followers of Steiner. Here, in Book 2 of the Simply Steiner^(c) series, you will discover what is involved in attaining the Higher Worlds so that - through this esoteric training - you can develop a "supersensible" consciousness that will lead to initiation and enlightenment. In this way, you may cross the threshold into a consciousness that will benefit not only you but also all of humanity-at a time when we need this most.

Knowledge of the Higher Worlds and Its Attainment, via the Simply Steiner^(c) edition, brings you into contact with the nature of the Higher Worlds, which-although available to all spiritual seekers-require a particular knowledge and due preparation to access. By streamlining and clarifying much of Rudolf Steiner's original, 19^th-century-worded writing (actually, the knowledge imparted by Steiner took the form of lectures in German, which then were recorded by his followers and translated into rather stiff and formal English), Eliza Joslin Kendall brings Steiner's brilliance and clear, precise guidance on the subject to a modern readership that is hungry for substance, for knowledge of the Higher Worlds for the sake of their own and the Earth's evolution.

Steiner provides a kind of Virgil to our Dante, a knowledgeable guide to the place within us that knows the Higher Worlds but has lost contact-or that wishes to have contact for the first time.

What was an esoteric secret in earlier times has become a survival necessity in our time. We must evolve to a higher plane in our human consciousness, for the transformation that is seeking to take place on the earth-one that, as it happens, Steiner predicted in Book 1 of the Simply Steiner^(c) series, The Gospel of St. John: Revisiting the Vision of Rudolf Steiner for the 21st Century: Our Participation in Earth's Evolution as the Planet of Love-to come about. The more of us who can ascend to the levels that Steiner gives us not only glimpses of but also pathways of entry into, the more we can take our place as a "light-worker" in the spiritual and physical dimensions of the earth.
