Lucy just wants to help every German Shepherd Dog understand how to be a good German Shepherd Dog, and live up to the intended design of their creator, Max von Stephanitz: "Remarkable in his unswerving loyalty to his master, irrepressible in his high spirits, never idle, always in motion, good-natured but not a flatterer, a constant pleasure to the eye..." Her solution? In How To Be A Good German Shepherd Dog, Lucy provides guidance to her fellow GSDs on all matters related to general social conduct and establishes a four-part Code of Conduct for those GSDs seeking to be enrolled in her new organization, the International Order of German Shepherd Dogs.
